What should I do with this one? I thought she liked me more as a friend?

A girl I work with that I liked started to like me I think......Yesterday morning she came up to me and told me she wanted my sweater I was wearing....I joked with her for a while and said she would probably get it. At the end of the day I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus and she drove by and turned around and gave me a ride home. I thought I was feeling vibes as far as she liking me so we talked on the way home and then asked if she wanted to do something Sat. She agreed, I gave her the sweater and she wore it today. We talked this morning a bit and then at the end of the day she asked if I wanted a ride home....I explained to her I wouldn't be done for another 30min. She said she would wait. On the way home she told me she would give me a ride to work Fri..her day off but I declined.however after getting to my house, I asked if I could kiss her and she said no..she still wants me to call her tonight and go out Sat. Does she like me as a friend or whats going on???

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

She's interested, but you're showing all the imagination of a grapefruit here. Are you interested, or just flattered? Because if you're interested, you need to start thinking things through. You have just described this cute little thing that's been developing between the two of you, and so far you've let her do all the work. And yes, she is interested, or else things wouldn't have progressed like they have. In fact, she's definately interested if she let the kiss thing go like that. But you sure swung and missed with that one, and she's going to keep that in her head while she evalutates what's happening here on your end. One or two slips like that and you'll cool her jets pretty quick.

If you're paying attention, you'll know when it's right to kiss her, and you won't have to ask. But you've got a ways to go on that, if you want more than just somebody to mess around with.

When a girl wanted to give you a ride or asking you for a date is not an indication that she likes you the way you feel for her. But the thought of wanting your company is something good to start with. Don't push yourself too much on her....I think she like first to be a friend to you...remember friendship is a good beggining for a more worthy relationship....Don't gauge her actions for something else, but rather to try to ride on for what she wants of you first...Goodluck!!!!
