Im not a person that gets caught up in hype however there are many things that point to 2012 being the end of the world. The Mayans are an ancient culture with a calender that baffles people today of it's acurracy. However strangley the calender stops after 2012......

Only the Father knows when the End of this world will be, it is however the last days, the signs of the times is showing itself. Yes, theses signs have been around for a long time, but like a woman in Labor, the bible uses this example. When it is time for deliver, the contrations get worse, everything is more intense. We have more wars, more earthquakes, more natural disaster, more evil in the world. Ask an old person, has the world gotten better. They will say "Hell NO!"

Matthew 25:13 - Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Revelation 14:7 - Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Matthew 24:36 - But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 24:48-51
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Well the Olympics will be in London and the end of the world would be a bit of a dampener. But then we are used to sports events being rained off in Britain! Perhaps it'll be postponed until the day after the Apocalypse. They had better honour their ticket sales though, otherwise there may be some angry horsemen champing at the bit!

Try to think of every day as the beginning of a new world!

Nope.
No one, except the Father, knows when the party's over.

Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

I'd concentrate on your soul and where it will go when Jesus comes to take His church home to heaven. Wouldn't you like to be among those He takes up in the rapture???

Well here's how that can be done..

John 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

If you dont know Jesus and have not accepted Him as your savior, Now is the time you can change that. Don't be left behind.

Call upon the name of Jesus and admit to Him that you are a sinner, ask Him for His forgiveness, and acknowlege that He is the one who died on the cross for your sins. then invite Jesus into your heart and life and become born again.

Jesus is coming for His chuch, ready or not. We are not promised tomorrow. all we have is this moment in our life. What we do with that moment will make the difference between spending eternity in hell or heaven, and the choice is yours. I pray you make the right one.

God bless you

Yeah, yeah. Sometime in December (before Christmas...I think the 23rd--it was close, I know that).

No. I don't believe it. Did Y2K happen? No. So many people have speculated on the end of the world, and they have all been wrong. It's just hype. Fiction.

2012 is DEFINITELY going to follow 2011!

Mayans really do not have anything to contribute to a True Christians thinking.

Is anyone sure that they were using th GREGORIAN Calender of the poop gregory -- or was it QUASI based on the Jewish Calendar --where 20 12 is LONG GONE.

Forget it--- get your eyes back on JESUS!

I am existing this day, and that is all anyone really has, actually, we dont even have this day, we do have this moment and thats it. I do not worry. It makes no sence to. The morrow, I dont know, and neither does anyone else. The past is gone, now is the only time that we do have, and that moment just passed.

Well the jewish/Christian bible does not say the world will end . It will be transformed.at least in the new testament.the old testament says it will end in fire this time around . take your pik as to how.
What we have to worry about is the pool balls bouncing around in space and a big enough one hitting us again.
If the world does end in 2012 it will most likely be mankinds fault

It's a shame I'll admit. How all their calculations and records were categorized blasphemy and burned. Their calendar system was only 30 seconds off from ours annually too.

Cross your fingers.
