I keep scratching my head and have opened up sores on my head. Now they scap and flake, but I can't quit scratching the scabs off and then they bleed and do it all over again. No I don't have lice. How do I quit?

Go to your doctor, i think at this point any shampoos might irritate the open wounds you have on your head. Instead of scratching, maybe pull on your hair a bit to help relieve the itch. No DON'T PULL YOUR HAIR OUT LOL just tug on it a little bit. If you can't afford to go to the doctor to find out why you are itching and what you can do, stop itching as much as possible so the sores heal up, then i recommend getting Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo. It solves itching for multiple reasons including psoriasis and other things like that. I use it twice a week and i don't itch anymore and it has a cooling effect to soothe. It stinks tho and makes my eyes water but you get used to it.
