i don't treat him badly or do anything to make him think this. how can i show him that i truly do love him?

i need some advice on what to do to show him that i do love him. any ideas?

he might just be messing around or something because I've done that but only because I enjoyed hearing how she loved me or maybe he doesn't know maybe treat him really nice and be really sexy towards him and sometimes it helps to buy him maybe a small gift to prove it ..no clue what though : / sorry good luck though!

it seems you are doing everything that you could to let him know you love him. but, sometimes people need convincing, and that is usually due to a low self esteem or a real lack of confidence. it's not your job to fix that for them because you can't. all you can do is what you're doing right now. if you really want to do something that could possibly help him realize how special to you he really is, then i would suggest a few things here.
make him a personal CD consisting of his and your fav (love) songs.
take him somewhere where you know he loves and make it a surprise. (dinner, movie, fav hang out place, organize to meet long lost friends etc)
hug him randomly, say things randomly, like you know your are so amazing, then continue casually what you are doing at the time (cooking, reading, watching tv etc) comments and compliments out of the blue always make them smile, and of course wonder where that came from, but they love it.

Too many have used the word loosely to have meaning, for in the end love is just a word to describe a feeling, the true proof of love is the action

Maybe he has had bad relationships in the past or has a jaded look at love because of his family's relationships. Talk to him and be there for him. You can't force someone to believe you, but you can continue to show him through actions....be caring, patient and there for him to talk to...I am sure he will start to believe you. Good luck.

Action speaks louder then words. Just think it this way. What would you like your another half to do if he wants to proof to you he loves you. List everything out and DO IT! and DO NOT expect anything in return. (Unconditional Love) is the key word of all love. I've tried and proven. =D Take care for now! =)

Because he is scared and probally isnt ready for love and he most likely might want to just get in your pants but i dont know the guy so i cant really judge...dunno good luck

Do you use the word "love" a lot? Do look him in the eyes and take his hand, then say it? Saying the word love comes from the heart, plus body language, plus tone of voice.

Because he is insecure. Are you sure you want to be in a relationship where you constantly feel youahve to prove you love someone?

He could be messing with you, like my boyfriend does sometimes. He probably just like to hear you say you love him, you love him, you love him. I had to tell my boyfriend a million times this morning. He kept acting like he couldn't hear me but he heard me alright and he said that he just like hearing me say it. MAYBE that's what your boyfriend is doing. Or he could be plain flat out INSERCURE, but I'm not sure though.

Quit trying so hard. This is easier to be said than done, but sometimes if you try too hard to please someone, you end up disappointing yourself more than anything. If it is meant to be, it will happen. Guys don't like it if your clingy or always saying I love you over and over. Good luck.
