Have u tried seeing a doctor about being depressed???? If I was u...I would first keep the warehouse job for right now, and then i would right down 3 lists.....
LIST 1: What I enjoy doing....
LIST 2: What are my good skills.....ex. hardworking, people friendly, ect
LIST 3: What are things that I struggle with and/or are unable to do....ex. have a bad back so i can't lift up heavy things, or blood makes me want to be sick so i can't work where i'll be interacting w/ blood, ect
THEN, start looking on the enternet, in newspapers or at local advertisments that will qualify for the 1st two list and doesn't qualify for the third list and when u find that job take it and quit the warehouse job...

*Everybody has the days when the hate their jobs and our having bad days...just because u have those days doesn't mean u r depressed but if u think u r depressed, see a doctor for help but frist try this tip:
Look at the good side of a situation.
For example, u get to work and your boss tells u that u r going to have to work over time. U could whine and be upset all day that u r going to have to delay your date or time w/ the guys OR u could be happy that u r going to make a couple extra $$$ for the next date or time with the guys.
*Humans usaly take things in the negative way but u can take them in the positive way too and if u do that u will be a lot happier...

I think your depression could stem from your self esteem.Your lack of money and a job causes you to have bad self-esteem.I think your best option would be write down why you are depressed, what kind of job you want, the changes you want in your life, and and a list of things that will get you there.Being 18 puts alot of stress on you to be "adult" and sometimes its hard to find where you fit in.Just don't take the job loss as a negative.Think of it as God has a better plan for you, he wants you in another area in life. You also should find something you enjoy doing as your job.Maybe consider taking some classes for a job you will really enjoy and the money you want.Be patient!Good Luck!

You are 18 years old...thank god you are still young...go to college or get some training in something where you can at least find a job youre going to like...apply for pell grants if you cant afford it and have no help from your parents...the government will GIVE ..yes give not loan...you money to be able to live on and go to school...with that you can pick up some part time job which isnt too horrible and go to school and be able to afford to live

Can't you hang in there until you find another job you may like? At least you will be making $, and ALL OF us has been there and done that by working a job we did not like, but don't be a quitter and let that job beat YOU, put in applications at other places, you will have a better chance getting another job with a good reference than a reference about working one day and quitting. GOOD LUCK !

My dear friend-Welcome to life 101!!!!! No job will ever be perfect or nice-hear me now! NEVER EVER!!!! I'm 42 and have had many jobs throughout my lifetime and have never had one that fits like a glove yet. It don't exist! All jobs SUCK and always will. You have to build character in order to persevere to endure these jobs. Nothing in life will ever be easy and the sooner you figure this out the better you will get along in life. Keep going at the job you have and learn to get along the best way you can, it will serve you better for life later on-trust me!

It must be nice to sit back and say "go to college". Obviously, a lot of people can not afford college.

Starting and quitting a job, especially if you do it enough, will hurt your chances of a good job later on.

Find something that looks interesting and stick with it! Most people don't enjoy their job, that is why it is called work. But sooner or later you will find something that is satisfying to you. Good Luck!

best thing you need is a good education,to get a good job.and never leave a job, with out getting another job first, because if you leave you might have a hard time finding another job,be in the safe side if you don't like your job, keep working ,and on your time off go and fill out application's,on different places, keep working till someone calls you then you will be secured, and be patient

Better do the shity jobs now than when you are old. We all had to pay our dues. I recommend you look into starting your own business, or go to school. In the mean time stop whinning and be a man.

sometimes you just have to stick w a shitty job but on the long run it could benefit you by learning everything there's is to learn that way if opportunity knocks you'll be able to jump at it and be thankful you stuck with it.
