Some people are so naive about God- why don't they listen to the evidence and understand that evolution is real?

Evolution is only a theory so it could not be true either. However, I still believe in evolution because I do not believe that people, plants, animals, and everything do not pop out of thin air.

Oh my goodness, this is so funny! You just totally contradicted yourself. If you looked around you would see God exists. Deep down everyone knows it, they just try to convince themselves otherwise. There are SO many things that prove evolution wrong! Nothing proves God wrong, you might think there is but thats just your head trying to convince yourself. There is nothing, because He does exist! God has been around forever. Evolution was made up some day by a guy with too much time on his hands. You really think after ALL this time, one random guy found the answer. No. Thats common sense, its not the right answer. Dont worry though, after a while people will finally see how stupid evolution is and think of some new stupid idea. Its like how everyone knew the world was flat, or knew the geo-centric theory was right and it was taught in schools and everyone believed it. You need to do some more research... and people say Christians believe what they are told. I have researched and found God to be real

Wake up...Even God has evolved so much during all these years.Every religious text has been tampered with to suit the current trend of any religion or as the religious head wished.
Scientific evolution will not be available for study, probably for many generations to come.So dont mull over it. Religion has the fastest rate of evolution. It evolves for each generation based on the circumstances.People are never naive and that is because it suits them to be religious. Specifically for some it suits them to put all the blame on the God and for some it is the best money making profession. Bottom line ...all for the money!!!

The idea that non living matter could come to life by chance,by some haphazard accident,is so remote as to be impossible. No, all the superbly designed living things on earth could not have come about by accident, since everything that is designed must have a designer.Do you know of any exceptions? There are none. And the more complicated the design, the more capable the designer has to be.
For example, when we see a painting,we except it as evidence that a painter exists. When we read a book,we accept that an author exists. When we see a house,we accept that a builder exists. And while we may not understand everything about the people who designed them,we do not doubt that the people exist.
Similiarly, the evidence of the existence of a Supreme Designer can be seen in the design, order, and complexity of living things on earth. They all bear the marks of a Supreme Intelligence. This is also true of the design, order and complexity of the universe with its billions of galaxies, each containing billions of stars. And all the heavenly bodies are controlled by precise laws, such as those for motion, heat, light, sound, electromagnetism and gravity. Can there be laws without a lawgiver?Rocket scientist Dr. Wernher von Braun stated "The natural laws of the universe are so precise that we have no difficulty building a spaceship to fly to the moon and can time the flight with the precision of a fraction of a second. These laws must have been set by somebody."
True,we cannot see the Supreme Designer and Lawgiver, with our literal eyes. But do we deny the existence of such things as gravity, magnetism, electricity or radio waves just because we cannot see them? No we do not,for we can observe their effects. Then why should we deny the existence of a Supreme Designer and Lawgiver just because we cannot see him, when we can observe the results of his amazing handiwork?

If you look back you will see that churchmen in the era immediately following publication of the Origin of the Species re-thought the old testament version of creation. Creation days might be the epochs of geological time and perhaps the earth was indeed very old. These were highly educated men of their time and were well versed in theology, science and mathematics.
In the 20th century a new breed of churchmen have come to completely reject evolution in all of its aspects. Now you can decide who is right the early thinkers or today's.

hahahahha evolution is real. all life evolves and adapts to its climate. A horse in the wither time looses its summer coat to a winter coat and that fits the definition of evolution. But what Cristian's don't believe is Darwinism and that is the thought that we came from monkeys. though we may mimic them or they us our D.N.A structure is completely different and that is a fact that even scientists can't refute I have even heard that fact stated on the somewhat liberal and or unchristian channel we know as the discovery channel. So evolution YES Darwinism NO

evolution is just a theory. just like God. nothing about how the world was created is a fact because no one was around back then to tell us. even evolution has some gaps which is why some people believe in God just as much as you may believe in evolution. i myself am agonistic

I will believe in evolution the minute a monkey turns into a man without taking a million years of my time to do it. Fair enough. Now try reading the Bible. It's only fair. =) Have a nice day!

evolution has no concrete evidence. if u could show me a video of fish growing legs and walking onto the land then i'd believe u. everyday people see Gods work in their lives, and theres a lot of concrete evidence of that.

because they listen to what people tell them and believe only that...they don't think with a mind of their own...i believe in creation AND evolution....i don't see why God couldn't create Lucy and have her and humanity evolve from that...people don't realize that the bible's contents aren't literal...the stories are a little exaggerated to prove points and teach lessons....fundamentalists are the ones that can't see past what is written and they are least in tune with their relationship with God
