Any clone of me would only look like me, 40 years ago. In no way would the cloned me act like me simply because it would not have had the same upbringing nor would it have experienced the same social actions that I did.
The teachers in school would be different, the education system would be far more flawed than it was then, food choices would be different, every thing that I knew then would be vastly different to this clone.

Off the top of my head, cloning sounds pretty all right. Two of me means less I have to do alone. That means my other self could go to work while I go to school, or vice versa. My other self could cook while I watch the tube. My other self can drive while I relax in the back seat with my walkman, doing the crossword. Cloning, is these cases, would be pretty great.

If you clone yourself it would be only another persons that looks like you, it won't be another you, because you can't be in two places at the same time

I would never agree to it. That is coming too close to playing God. Only God has the right to create life. If you think Mortal Man can make humans like God did, let man create his own dust first, then breathe the breath of life into his nostrils as God did.

God, no, I wouldn't want 2 of me. Unless that other one would do all the housework and all the crappy stuff I don't want to do. Of course, then I would just spend more time on YA. Not so good!
