i do .when kids have to much time on theri hands it can get pretty bad when boredom sets in .and not all parents can entertain their kids 24/7 .but on a different way to look at it i think they need to go a lot more than they do to keep things still fresh a lot of times kids lose some info over the summer and it also takes a couple weeks to get the kids ionto the school routine that it is like the first 1 -2 months of school it is settling in and the last 1-2 months of school they are ready to be out .but right now my kids are just plain driving me nuts i am a stay at home mom of 4 kids.and not a whole lot of money for gas or places to go .so yea i am ready for them to be back to school. my friends kids started back today they are in south carolina.i told her i will be moving there soon (LOL)but i do love my kids and i do enjoy my time with them .

It depends on the kids and the parents, I guess. I don't mind my kids being at home, but that's probably because I work and go to school myself and don't have a whole lot of time for them during the school year. I might feel different if I was home with them all the time, I don't know.

Yes and no, I have to keep them busy or they fight, but It is great not to worry about homework. Staying up late and sleeping in is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!
