I am one of those people who attracts bitey insects that cause itching. All my life I have tried EVERY home-rememdy and off the shelf ointment and nothing worked... not even antihistamine!

Last year I found a little thing called Mosquito -Click. I have used it for fleas, mosquitos and sandflies. You simply click it 6 times (you don't feel a thing) on the bite and it goes away. Only twice I had to repeat the treatment after dozens and dozens of bites.

I bought mine in K-mart in Australia (in the camping section).

Pour ammonia on it. I swear it'll take away the itch withing a few minutes. If you ever happen to get a first aid bag, open up the insect bite thing. Smell it, it smells like ammonia because that is what it is.

Treat it quickly with vinegar. Its acid neutralizes the insect's anti-coagulant fluid. With it neutralized your skin's histamine production will stop and with it the itch.
