I go to the doctors but they dont give me any advice. They just give me this stupid lubricant that doesn't do anything. Are there any doctors out there who can answer this question for me? I am travelling to India from august 6 to the 25 and i wanna get rid of the infection as soon as possible so i can enjoy the trip...Thanks.

Hold a warm towel, not a hot towel, a warm towel on your eye, when it cools repeat with the warm towel until it ripens and bursts.
Will take about an hour or two.
If you'er very courageous you can get a straight pin and prick the sty very carefully to release the pressure, a sty is similar to a pimple. The pin will need to be clean.

Growing up I was always told to take a gold ring and rub it on my shirt to heat it up and then put it on the sty. You do that a few times and it should go away in a day or so. I haven't had one in a few years, so can't say if it will work or not.

Hey I work for an eye doctor and this is want you should do...do hot compresses with a warm washcloth as hot as you can stand it.this will bring this stye to a head do not pop it just let it burst on its own..if this doesnt work you need to see a different doctor who can prescribe an antibiotic like Doxycycline to help with this..hot compresses is really the best thing for this at least 10 minutes 3 times a day. Good luck you should look picture perfect for your trip!!

Not a doctor, but my husband had one. He was told to rub something gold on it so it would go away. It didn't and when he went to the doctor he sent him to a skin specialist who said it was cancerous and he had it removed and got some cream, all is well now and no more re occurrences. Go and see another Doctor if you are worried. Good Luck

This might sound weird to you but try plucking(remove) a hair or two (eye lashes??) nearest the sty !!!

I wore sunglasses every time I went outside, try not to strain your eyes when you look at things. My Gma had me put a warm rag over my eyes - it helped. Good luck

hey fren 1st thing it spelled stye. u do one thing called hot formantation. it means putting a clean warm towel over ur swelling. but u need to wet the clean towel in slightly hot water ok. with firm pressure, press over the swelling, do tis abt 3-4 times a week, for 10min. it wil get better fren. its onli a kind of lid infection. dun wori ok. let me noe if u get better.

The gold ring thing is what i was going to tell you but i got beat to it . but i know it works , just make sure its real gold. my moms wedding band has be used this way a few times.
