Would have it been perfect until now had the tree not been there in the 1st place? Why did God put it there anyway and forbid the first couple to eat that fruit? To test them? How could someone with no conscious knowledge of good and evil be capable of understanding the test? And Satan? He's powerless had that same tree not been there and used it as his tool to tempt the couple. If that tree had not been around, Jesus wouldn't have to be sacrificed. Everything were supposedly perfect had it not been that tree. But God who is perfect cannot make a mistake as simple as overlooking that tree which causes all these troubles of mankind. Maybe, just maybe, our idea of perfection isn't what in God's mind after all? What do you think?

Hmm. You mean that maybe leaving the Garden wasn't actually a punishment. That's a good question, and one that I've often wondered myself.

What if it was actually Graduation Day for Adam and Eve?

well lets see - If I were the perfect being and I wanted to create a world for whatever reason. I would not want it to be a perfect place - I would not want it to be as good as I am myself. sure I would make things simple and say hey only one rule don't eat this one fruit - you can eat everything on this planet but not from this tree - without order we have chaos even today we know this. If this would be the fall of man well how would we know how great we did without testing it. the first rocket made never made it to the moon it took a few tries. but we figured it would not work the first time but we had to test how good we were. You can not have a test unless you have something to test it with. God never made another god he made a man, man let him down.
This is just a hypothetical scenario but I am sure if you put your mind to it you could think of many more. if you keep your mind set on one idea you never will grow.

I think you first of all should know that only since king james re-wrote the holy scriptures it was not a tree or an apple. And further more he told them not to partake of that kind of knowledge because if they could live by just obeying things would have been alot easier for them all the way to us. There are no excuses for not keeping the laws, even if we still kept all 613 laws that's still only a fraction of the laws that mans government had to create that 90% of us have to live by today. The only difference is those old laws provide peace and health for everyone and that would be perfect and I'm sure that is the perfection that we are going to be held accountable for accomplishing.

God has a plan and that plan included the Tree, the slavery under Egypt, and the sacrificing of His Son. God doesn't want perfection anyways otherwise he wouldn't have given made Free Will.

well, first, Free Will isn't Free Will without a choice.

If I tell my daughter "NO jumping on the couch" but then we don't have a couch, what kind of choice is that? So the tree had to be there to give them a choice.

2nd. Adam and Eve KNEW that God had said "DO NOT EAT OF THE TREE" That's all they had to know. Right there, they had a choice. They knew it was wrong to disobey God. That is a knowledge of right and wrong.

3rd? Our idea of perfection? I have no idea what you mean by that.

God put it there to test them, yes.
He told them not to eat of that tree, so knew it was wrong.Satan would have found some way to trick man, because he is the father of lies, come on he even tried to trick Jesus.

God put the tree there with precaution not to eat the fruit to test man's love for if they obey it that's it.He said if we love Him we keep His commandments thus when they disobeyed the love God expected from them failed.lesson for it s becoz satan is around us seeking whom he may devour we must always keep in guard not to fall.reminding if we love God we must obey His command.but we are weak therefore we must depend on Him all the time.God sometimes allow trials and temptation to test our faith in Him.soon our works will be tested by fire if they stood to it then we passed the test and God is happy and we'll receive a crown.another reason also in everything that happen God has purpose to declare His glory in our lives if we succeeded.
with man's fall at Eden God wants to declare to all that He's God,the Alpha and Omega who loves us and was happy with His creation yet felt sad and angry with our disobedience.
