Banana Smoothie

Made with yogurt, this drink is both refreshing and nourishing. To tell when a banana is ripe, look for tiny brown spots, called sugar spots, on the peel.

Ingredients

1 ripe banana
1/2 c. nonfat yogurt
1 tbsp. sugar (or to taste)
1 tbsp. banana liqueur (optional)
1 c. crushed ice
1 tsp. fresh lime juice
lime wedge or banana slice, for garnish
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a large glass and garnish with a lime wedge or banana slice. Serves 1.

Berry Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

1 ripe banana
¾ cup milk or soy milk
1/2 cup ripe strawberries, hulled and halved
¼ cup yogurt (if you use vanilla-flavored yogurt, omit the vanilla extract)
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts or flax seeds

1. Whiz all ingredients except walnuts and flax seeds in a blender.

2. Pour into glass and top with walnuts or flax seeds.

Serves 1.

OK...this is hard one. We are making a banana smoothie. First we will need (take one guess) banana's.(ding ding ding) Then you need something smooth and cold. Either ice cream or yogurt. Then you get milk and but it all in a blender. For a thicker smoothie put more ice cream and less milk. For smoother smoothie (that sounds funny) add more milk.

Put the following ingredients in a blender:

2 bananas
Several scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Several Ice Cubes
Several teaspoons of sugar

Blend until smooth. Taste, add ice cream to make thicker. Add sugar to make sweeter.

Just experiment and you will find the perfect combination.

Vanillia icecream in blender, some milk - blend until you get it the consistency you want it (thicker/thinner). Then add chopped
banana's and blend again. Taste test till you get it the way you like it!

Also goes really good with mixed in praline that you buy in the
ice-cream topping section of grocery store.

Yeah, yet possibly placed some yogurt or vanilla ice cream in there too... in the different case it's going to be quite thick... Ichk. Strawberries should be quite solid in there too... Oh and probably upload a touch ice. Dang i'm hungry now. Lol.
