sometimes I have no I dea what God wants us to do. Does he want us to respect other people and their religions? Or are we supposed to convert them? Is our regular life a sin because we do so many wrong things? What if you are boss and you fire some one, Is that a sin? What if you put down an animal because it attacks people, is that a sin? What if all of civilization is so messed up, that we are all going to hell?

Many of you have made a point saying that Humans are above dogs and thus, The dog needs to change, not the human. Doesn't God want us all to be equal? Doesn't that include people? You don't kill a person if they assault some one, you put them in jail to make them regret it and hopefully change. Why should dogs die? And if god is a god of second chances, shouldn't we give second chances too? If an employee is acting bad and needs to be fired shouldn't you do everything in your power to prevent that? By firing them you could ruin their life to promote yours. Is that a sin?

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child. I find it disturbing that because religionists can't face the fact they don't know something, they jump on the first manure wagon that passes by and call it "Truth".

>>>sometimes I have no I dea what God wants us to do.<<<

Join the club! But prayer certainly helps make this easier.

>>>Does he want us to respect other people and their religions? Or are we supposed to convert them?<<<

Trying to convert someone doesn't mean that we don't respect them. in addition, trying to convert someone doesn't even mean that we don't respect their religion.

It's okay to believe that other religions contain some elements of religious truth. I certainly do.

>>>Is our regular life a sin because we do so many wrong things?>>>

Regular prayer, which is communication with God, can definitely reduce the frequency of our sin.

We do wrong things, of course, but as long as we are truly sorry for them and make a sincere effort to avoid repeating these acts, God forgives us.

>>>What if you are boss and you fire some one, Is that a sin?>>>

If the person didn't deserve to be fired, yes. If the situation could have been resolved some other way without resorting to termination, yes.

But if all other attempts to rectify whatever problem was happening have been exhausted, or if the person is simply not working hard enough, or if the person is constantly flouting rules, then there comes a point when firing them is the only leftover option.

In fact, sometimes telling someone that they should get another job that's more suitable to them is, in the long run, a good thing.

>>>What if you put down an animal because it attacks people, is that a sin?<<<

No, as long as that's the only way to deal with the problem and to protect people.

>>>What if all of civilization is so messed up, that we are all going to hell? >>>

There's a lot of bad stuff going on out there -- but there's a whole lot of GOOD stuff going on that never makes the Evening News!

Wow...

I believe He wants us to have eternal life.

Converting others is optional and best done by leading a good an exemplary life.

We all sin and fall short of Gods glory, don't sweat it, just do your best to repent and change for the better.

Firing someone isn't a sin unless it was done out of malice, envy, jealousy or anger, not however if it was because of incompetence on the employees part.

Animals need to get put down if they are violent, sorry Fido. I see no sin in it, just a way to keep people safe.

If anyone believes that all of civilization is so messed up that we are all going to hell then they have no HOPE of redemption.

I believe that for as many that seek redemption, even in this day and age, will find it.

Wow, too many questions to answer. Sounds like you are needing some direction in your life, and you are asking the right questions. Personally, I would suggest you ask the Lord for direction...then start looking for His answer. If you are truely seeking Him, He'll put you on the path....but one caution. Make sure that what you know, is what you know. Don't simply go by emotional appeals, and hype. Know that what you understand is scriptural, you've seen it with your eyes, had it explained to your full understanding, and then go from there.
I hope you find Him....:)

To know the truth, the truth will set you free. Jesus said, "I am the way, the TRUTH and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me". Seek and you shall find my friend. God has the answers for you. Pray and ask Him for the answer to your questions; He will answer you. The answer to your questions is: PRAY and you will know what God wants from you or wants you to do in any given situation. Man takes it upon themselves to do what they want to do so many times without prayer. Yes, this world is upside down and I am an upright person in an upside down world. Thank you for your question.

God wants us to live according to His Commandments. And try our best to do His will. It is commanded that we do try to bring others unto Him. It is up to them to decide weather or not they want to.
When we sin it is due to our imperfection. That is due to the fall of Adam.
Jesus die in payment for Adams fall and payment for our sins. So if you repent of your sins and try to change your life to be more in line with the Lord you are promised forgiveness. If we dont repent for each and every sin we have commited the Lord knows the circumstances of our lives and is understanding and also knows what is in our hearts....
Putting animals down is not a sin because it states in the Bible that we have authority over all living things Plant and Animal... Including its death and life..

We are not all going to Hell. I Promise. I bet anything I will see you in Heaven.

Youll be ok If you live a righteous life or at least dont commit any unforgivable sins like Murder.. I dont even know if that is honestly unforgivable, ITS UP TO GOD !!!
As I said before "the Lord knows the circumstances of our lives and is understanding and also knows what is in our hearts."
Also if we dont know any better we are not accountable for the things that we do against God.... AGAIN AS I SAID BEFORE------- "the Lord knows the circumstances of our lives and is understanding and also knows what is in our hearts"....--------

Pray to God with Faith that He will answer your prayers and I PROMISE HE WILL !!!!!!

I believe He wants us to love people- to show people His love. I think God wants us to live a life that is pleasing to Him, so that we may be a living testimony.

I don't know what your God wants you to do, but I'll tell you what non-Christians want you to do. We want you to respect our religions and don't try to convert us. We've heard the "Good News" and we know where to go if we want to convert.
