woman was made to be with man to help him and to keep him company because it was not good for man to be alone. I never recalled God telling man he was woman superior

Yes, I agree. The bible does appear the show that the woman is the weaker of the two spouses. I personally do not agree with this, but I do believe that that is the way the bible portrays it.

Paul is the only one in the Bible that shoots his mouth off about the marriage relationship. His writings are not scripture just "epistles" or church letters. Christ is largely silent on the issue.
A good man and a good woman can have a wonderful marriage together no matter all of the theories floating around.

I've read most of the Bible, and I can confidently say that yes, the Bible is, the vast majority of the time (I don't say all of the time just in case) sexist. I think that this is a pretty good indicator that it was written by people WITHOUT the presence of some imaginary "Holy Spirit."
All hail the Invisible Pink Unicorn (bbhhh)!

women are not the weaker sex at all. In fact the bible points out many times that without a good loving and equal women next to a man he is not very prestigious. in fact in one verse it says that a good women is a crown to be worn on the head of her spouse. you wouldn't abuse or neglect a crown of gold and precious jewels would you or treat it as a piece of toilet paper so you shouldn't do that to a women either

The woman is not weak. The only difference is the roles that the husband and wife play. The bible does not oppress women as many think.

Men and women have different strengths and weaknesses, which combines, hypothetically create a perfect alliance .
Traditionally Women have the nurturing aspect and men have the hunter gatherer aspect which combined are good. I don't think women are necessarily the weaker of the 2.

No, in the bible each has thier own very important role, the man being normally the more physcial has his duties, and was given the things he needs to do that,
The women having her jobs, was given the needed items in her physcial being and mental being to do those jobs.
In true bible terms they are one, both fulfilling a need the other one does not.

It says women were made for men and men for God. So,I guess that makes us "weaker" in a sense. But the Lord had a specific purpose for women and I would never want to be male!!! I am proud to be a women.

I would not say that she is the weakest or most dependant. (I think that is what you meant to type)..
I would say that the man is just given more responsibility and more authority given to him to make decisions.
