The fact that evolution has not been proven for a hundred years. Beside that, it contradicts what the Bible says is truth.

That would be wrong. Theistic Evolution does not teach that creation and scientific evolution are the same or even comparable. It does teach that enviromental evlotution is possible in the context of biblical creation...that being that God created the world to change, adapt, and alter as needed for changes in the world.

Ok, first thing. Any kind of view of evolution (views that assumes the evolution 'theory' is true) are completely insane and ludicrous. Think about it. HUMANS coming from monkeys???Puhlease. And besides, if monkeys evolved into humans, which they didn't, why are there still monkeys? Seriously, I think that Darwin was just a halfwit twit. And all these scientists....Jeez. Completely intelligent people wasting they're mind, which was a gift from God, on a completely unintelligent idea. It's ridiculous. Look at the world around you. Can't you see that it didn't happen by just an accident or a 'big bang'. The Bible has the Truth.

The problem is religion is too set in their own ways , The bible does allow for evolution . The seven day is interpreted literal by man . Gods 7 days could be much longer . God does not need to explain this to man . Just close your mouth and follow your heart. The bible says the heavens and the earth . Did he create life on other planets ? He does not say he did not . He says he created MAN in his image . He did not go in detail . There were 12 tribes . he did not say all twelve were created in his image. As you can see man twists his words to fit their agenda . He says do not take from or add to . I do not claim to be an expert but i set forth some examples . If you believe you can find the answers by forgetting the brainwashing done for hundreds of years . All you need to do is read for yourself and the answers will be there .

We are getting away from what brought us here. God's word is infallible, inerrant, and unmutable. It cannot be changed. We are trying not to hurt anyone's feelings and loosing ground in the process. I cannot be made to believe that we are here because a one-celled organism crawled out of the muck millions of years ago and turned into man, with all of his wonders. Man can make a gadget to pick up a glass and pour it without spilling it. But he cannot make a hand that can soothe, heal, feel, caress, protect and disipline. That is devine intervention and no amount of evolution can bring about that . Why aren't all apes and chimps, as we have been told we come from, all people? they've been around as long, if not longer than we have. Darwin found large tortises on the Galopagus islands and they are as slow as ever.
Paul said it best when he said, I am marveluosly and wonderfully made, not completely evolved.

Your question makes no sense. Why would a Christian see flaws in theistic evolution. It is the atheistic, evolutionary creationism that would be disagreed with.

Evolution as a theory of origin isn't compatible with the Bible's seven day creation story.

the problem here is the classic teachings are wrong. But I think in the near future you will find that science will fully support the bible on key areas. creation. evolution. We have inquiring minds and need to know the truth about everything. until then we take a lot on faith. ( the world was flat once you know)

As an atheist, I hope that more Christians will accept theistic evolution, because it is definately a step in the right direction.

I believe that micro-evolution (changes within a species) occurs & is compatible with creationism.

Macro-evolution (change from one species into a totally other species) has not been proven, and it is not compatible with a belief in creation as outlined in Genesis.

I don't see any flaws in theistic evolution. I believe that God created everything through evolution and that it still exists today.
