Main article: Islamic views of Jesus
In Islam, Jesus (known as Isa, Arabic: عيسى), is considered one of God's most-beloved and important prophets and the Messiah.[44] Like Christian writings, the Qur'an holds that Jesus was born without a biological father to the virgin Mary, by the will of God (in Arabic, Allah) and for this reason is referred to as Isa ibn Maryam, a matronymic (since he had no biological father). (Qur'an 3:45, 19:21, 19:35, 21:91) In Muslim traditions, Jesus lived a perfect life of nonviolence, showing kindness to humans and animals (similar to the other Islamic prophets), without material possessions, and abstaining from sin.[45] All Muslims believed that Jesus abstained from alcohol, and many believe that he also abstained from eating animal flesh. Similarly, Islamic belief also holds that Jesus could perform miracles, but only by the will of God. [46] However, Muslims do not believe Jesus to have divine nature as God nor as the Son of God. Islam greatly separates the status of creatures from the status of the creator and warns against believing that Jesus was divine. (Qu'ran 3:59, 4:171, 5:116-117). Muslims believe that Jesus received a gospel from God called the Injil that corresponds to the Christian New Testament, but that some parts of it have been misinterpreted, misrepresented, passed over, or textually distorted over time so that they no longer accurately represent God's original message to mankind (See Tahrif).[47]
Muslims also do not believe in Jesus' sacrificial role, nor do they believe that Jesus died on the cross. In fact, Islam does not accept any human sacrifice for sin (See Islamic conceptions of atonement for sin for further information). Regarding the crucifixion, the Qur'an states that Jesus' death was merely an illusion of God to deceive his enemies, and that Jesus ascended bodily to heaven.[44] (Qur'an 4:157-158.) Based on the quotes attributed to Muhammad, some Muslims believe that Jesus will return to the world in the flesh following Imam Mahdi to defeat the Dajjal (an Antichrist-like figure, translated as "Deceiver"). [48] Muslims believe he will descend at Damascus, presently in Syria, once the world has become filled with sin, deception, and injustice; he will then live out the rest of his natural life. Sunni Muslims believe that after his death, Jesus will be buried alongside Muhammad in Medina, presently in Saudi Arabia. [49] However, the sects of Sunni and Shi'ite Islam are divided over this issue.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Movement (accounting for a fairly small percentage of the total Muslim population) believes that Jesus survived the crucifixion and later travelled to Kashmir, where he lived and died as a prophet under the name of Yuz Asaf.[50] Mainstream Muslims, however, consider these views heretical."

Now based on what is written I am puzzled about a few things. Ok tell me if this makes sense to any of you. According to Islam Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, but was not divine or God’s Son. If we are all made up of two halves of a parent and we know that biologically that one half of that was Mary, where did the other half come from since she was a virgin? Now people claim that when a person talks of faith they lose the ability to reason. But wouldn’t logic and reason dictate that if Jesus was half of Mary and a virgin then the other half would have to be from God? Would that not make Him the Son of God? Moreover the Muslims believe that Jesus did not in fact die on the cross but that God deceived His enemies and that Jesus ascended bodily to heaven and will return to the world in the flesh. Ok again here I am confused. Jesus lives a perfect life and performs miracles and spreads the gospel. How is it that Jesus who is considered less of a man than Muhammad does all these things and is ascended in to heaven then to return to the earth to take on the antichrist and to abolish sin from the world? So Jesus fulfills all the things as spoken of in the bible, yet according to the Muslims He is denied by them as being the son of God. That doesn’t make sense. I would have to conclude that based on a comparison of the life of Jesus as written by the Christians is a more accurate portrayal of His life, where the Muslim version is a modified version.
I would also like to offer up information, regarding this topic by mentioning Simon Greenleaf. “Greenleaf an agnostic himself and one of the principle founders of the Harvard Law School, originally set out to disprove the biblical testimony concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was certain that a careful examination of the internal witness of the Gospels would dispel all the myths at the heart of Christianity. But this legal scholar came to the conclusion that the witnesses were reliable, and that the resurrection did in fact happen.”
I have attached a link in the sources section where you can read for yourself the paper that was written by Mr. Greenleaf.

Wow! This is a loaded question!
Christians believe in Jesus. Muslims believe in Mohammad. Many people believe them to be the same person.
I think Christians have a better understanding of Jesus' life and teachings. While Muslims are more of a "religion", if you know what I mean?

Muslims and Jews believe that a guy named Jesus lived and rocked the Jewish world that he lived in by challenging the authority/teachings of the Levite priests. (Very similar to what Martin Luther did to the Catholic priests 1500 years later.)
Christians believe that plus that Jesus was the Son of God.
In other words, all interpretations of the teachings of Jesus the Man are the same.

Read the Bible to find out for yourself what Jesus said. The Muslims rely on it also, although they don't seem to get the real intent of what is said.

Let me see, Mohammad wrote the Quran that Islam is based on. ( using parts of the bible and other texts to write it)
So the bible was already written before teh Quran was written,
( proven known fact)
So the bible was first, and contains the actual facts.
