When your dating someone, when does the age difference become a problem? As in how many years apart

It doesn't matter about the years.
What I mean to say is that you make it the problem not the years.
As long as you're both happy then it doesn't matter what the age difference is.

Well, this is not something that will be answered the same for everyone. But I will answer from the perspective of someone who is married to a man 15 years older than I am.
Try to imagine how things will be 10, 20, 30 years from now. Will both of you be as healthy and vital as you are today? Or will one of you be suffering from various age-related maladies, such as arthritis, strokes, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, COPD, and so on? Will one of you be faced one day with the prospect of being no longer a lover, but a caretaker?
Are you ready to change his diapers or wipe food off his chin?
If you are, then go for it.

As long as u love each other, it is not a problem.....but if he's old enough to be ur father, socially, its an issue.......ideally, the biggest age diff u need is 10 yrs.....any more than that, gets to be weird when u think about it......I dated someone once that was 18 yrs older than me.....it was really weird to think that the year I was born, he graduated high school.......we broke up for other reasons, but the age diff would've eventually torn us apart anyway.

I think as long as you are really into the person, not dating them to say compensate for getting old, or as a father figure or anything like that. My husband is 7 years older than me, but it is in age only. Our interests are the same and we just click. So as long as you can relate to eachother, it's fine.

If your a teen you shouldn't be seeing anyone older than 17 because it is illegal. If you are older than that then it really doesn't matter as long as your happy! =)
