Responding to mounting pressure and increasingly confrontational rhetoric from the outside world, North Korean president Kim Jong Il unfolded into a 70-foot-tall, 62-ton giant robot Monday.
Kim Jong Il marches through the streets of Pyongyang.
"The DPRK's nuclear program is very much its own business, as is its right to determine its own path of security," said Kim, his torso splitting along ventral seams as clusters of Taepo-Dong ICBMs rose from his shoulders. "Any attempt by Washington to decide our fate will surely result in a sea of fire being unleashed upon them."
As his arms and legs sheathed themselves in bulletproof Mecha-Muscle telescoping outward from his chest, Kim reiterated his refusal to bow to international demands.

Today, I watched the news coverage of the meetings between China and North Korea. I couldn't help but laugh at how much the Kim Jong puppet in Team America: World Police looked like the real one. I only hope that we truly have a team of heroes that develop a swift and lethal plan to rid the universe of that psycho.

Well of course not but we do have to be careful... See, we have fully admitted that we, the USA, knows very little about N.Korea. They are an incredibly isolated country.
This situation is beginning to remind me in a way of the Cuban Missile crisis. Kennedy spent all night long comtemplating using military force. When he finallly decided to stay with diplomatic strategies instead it came out there was a much larger threat than we knew about = could have resulted in ww3.
So you see, there might be a reason he is being so bold. My problem is the entire issue as a whole. First we pull out of the anti-ballistic missile treaty in 2001 then Bush says they are on his axis of evil along with Iraq. Then they watch us invade Iraq, disregarding UN support. So they answer all that with withdrawing from the NPT.
They have clearly stated they missile program is for defensive purposes only which, when you look at the whole picture, makes perfect sense. Not saying to just take them at their word. Just saying it does make sense.
Also what bothers me, is everytime we don't like exactly how a leader acts, we talk about assassinating them. What are we.. cold blooded murderers? They haven't done anything to us directly and that would be a blatant act of aggression and war.

He would change his tune if the world actually had balls and weren't such wussies. Today, too many natioins can get away with doing this stuff and they know they can because the world won't do anything to stop. People need to realize that their Hippy philosophy of solving things the peaceful way won't work, so war is gonna be needed no matter what anyone thinks. You only look like a fool when you give the enemy gifts hoping they will stop the program when they'll only keep on doing it because we're stupid enough to just keep giving them stuff. This world is so rediculous today.

Only as long as China is providing financial backing and diplomatic protection. If that stopped, he would be gone in a week.
China also backs the world's other great Stalinist dictatorship, Myanmar. China has sent Myanmar over $2 billion in weapons since 1990, and UN resolutions go nowhere because of China's veto power.

No one in this world as a human being is indestructable. It is simply because Pres. Kim is being supported by fellow communist countries and those countries who opposes america but coundn't do anything but to give financial support to them. Besides, Pres. Kim has a political ambition to conquer the south for economic reason. If he will be able to complete his mission, North and South korea will become one, which is economically and military capable of competing with Japan and USA and other high develop countries, leading to their ambiition to become one of the world power.

First of all.... Kim Jong II(or whatesvesr his stupid name is) is NOTHING.. KEEP IN MIND THIS.. He does NOTHING without being told to do it by China.. His sending off the stupid missles were done because China said to do so. China is behind it all.. not that little sick., perverted Kim JOng Il. China is rattling the sabres of North Korea I believe, in order to test the reactions, defensive and otherwise of the U.S.... of Japan... of South Korea.. ALL the actions of North Korea are dictated by China... Keep that in mind in the future.

Technically, we are still at war with North Korea, (China), and if we let the dogs loose, it would be bloody. The little pug, Kim is not invulnerable.
