I need help with my masturbation. I have been a true Christian for a long time now and I have been struggling with masturbation and lust for more than a year now. I have repented once and for all but I am having trouble changing. Every time I am tempted to masturbate, I remember that I have to pray. But praying makes me think of it even more. And then, after I have been rolling it around in my head for a while, it seems as if it is to powerful and I dont even think about praying anymore. I enjoy it while masturbating, but afterwards I am convicted and I really want to stop. I need a Christian brother please to give me their email address and by request be my accountability partner? As an accountability partner, you will email me and check up on me every week to see how I am doing with my temptation. I'll share with you my experience with my temptation and together with God we can overcome it. Anything said in the email stays in the email. Prayers are also greatly appreciated. thanks.

13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
Remember you're not alone, these temptations are "common to man". Trust in God and he will make your paths straight.

It is not as serious a sin as teachers and parents make it out
to be. When I was in school adults put a big guilt trip on you
for beating off. Man what you need to learn is how to be
more comfortable around girls. Man, once you get more
confidence in yourself you won't feel like wanking it so much.

You seems to be in serious addicted with the natural act. Though christian bros out there may help you to overcome the addiction but i will encourage you seriously to seek treatment and counselling. Remember GOD helps those who help themselves. Through medical treatment and prayers will spare you this agony! In any case, inviting a stranger in the outside world to claim to be a true christain may divert you deeper.. so please if you so called claim to be a true christian i am sure you are attending church of your choice, seek counselling from your leader and medical treatment immediately! I think that you're obsessing about this, and you're obsessing about it because you won't let yourself do it. There's nothing wrong with masturbation! The sin of Onan was not masturbation, it was dishonoring his brother by refusing to impregnate his brother's widow!

Masturbation is completely healthy, and necessary. Unless your having premarital sex (which I'm sure your not) you need to masturbate.
