hmmm... well I have to kind of agree with you on a few of your points. Many ppl think that just memorizing something, makes them actualy know it. Now I have personally quoted scripture, but I try to only do so if I know what it means, and can put it into my own words. And many of the christians of the world, and most of the ones here don't actualy know what they believe. They believe in what they are told, and because the bible tells them too. Even as a christian, and somebody that does believe in the bible, I think it is foolish to just accept the answers, and not question anything. Many ppl, especially new christains, take it upon themselves to save the whole world. And they often think by insulting, and or threatening somebody will make them believe the way they do. I have a friend like this. she is constantly trying to "ram" religion down my throat, and always has a holier then though attitude. I told her straight up one day, that if I weren't already a christian, her example of christianity would turn me away from the faith.

Many ppl, on both sides of the argument rarely have actual facts to base there arguments on. I have heard ppl say as there proof that there is no God things like "well I prayed to God and said that if I could win the lottery I would believe in God. And I didn't win the lottery, so there is no God." That is not actual proof that there is no God. There really isn't, to my knowledge, any proven facts to the existence, or non existence of God. It really comes down to faith. Many things that ppl claim happend because of God could be written off as coincidence. This is not what I actualy believe, but being smarter then a bread box, I can accept the possibility.

For me, i'm always open for a nice friendly debate, and I am eager to know the opinons of others. I think some ppl believe that if they even aknowledge another persons opionion if it varies from there own, will question there own faith. I think that just shows how weak there faith actualy is, and possibly the fact that they themselves have questions, but there afraid to actualy admit it, so they'd rather just blame, and get mad at others.

I went back to your original question and answered it.

As for the actual premise, it is a pretty bold assumption that a person who signs 'God Bless' is genuinely a person of faith. It is too prima facia, not unlike saying anybody with a 'butch' or shaved head is an Arian Supremist/Neo-Nazi racist. I think the weakness of the premise pretty much invalidates any drawn conclusions.

"Judge not, that you be not judged."
Matthew 7:1

Education doesn't make a person smart Jacob, just educated.Faith doesn't make a person dumb, just faith filled. The two can coexist. They already do.I request that you help me create a space of peace for all my people from all walks of life. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Lead by example. I love you. Peace be with you.

Well unfortunately most of what is considered "christian" in this country consists of people who are simply followers of organized religion and really have no understanding of the actual bible or religion. They tend to just speak without thinking because they are without knowledge to draw from.
