does anyone BOTHER to even look up the quote to: 1. Be sure it is accurate or 2. read it in context.
I just responded to a question where it was OBVIOUS that this was not done by ANY of the responders. Hello people, especially those that might perhaps be here to in some way learn or teach or evangelize or whatever---------a little common sense!
So really, how many of you bother to read these in context?

Yes, I've noticed that many people (both here and in the real world) use the phrase "it says so in the Bible" when it really doesn't. When further pushed, these same people admit to never having read the book.
Kudos to you for really having read it.

i have looked up several bible verses and tried to answer the best i can.. i know many by heart... but those that i do not know , but recognize i look up and be sure i have it in my mind right...i think some people on here just make fun of the word of god... i do not think they have any idea what they are even saying... and blasphemy against the holy ghost is a unforgivable sin...

I admit that I trust that they are accurate merely because they are probably cut and pasted 90+% of the time. It's the interpretation of that verse by the person online that usually contains the silliness.

Yes, I do too, but remember what kind of community we're in here. All you need is a password and internet access to contribute. That's not a very high standard for participation.

You can look a God's reflection in my testimony and live.
