God apparently appreciates and loves variety -- which is why He created us with different skin colors and other physical attributes.

Skin color doesn't involve willfull behavior that puts us at much higher risk for many diseases. Homosexuality does.

Just in case you were thinking of drawing an analogy between skin color (the subject of your question here) and sexual orientation (the subject of a previous question of yours). There is no analogy.

This question could be looked at in two different way. Does God care (as in cares for you) if you are white, black, asian, hispanic? In that phrasing of course he does. But it regards to the way in which you intended the question, of course God doesn't care. Because, as others have stated, he has made everyone in his/her image.

According to most Christian traditions, no. There are certain fringe groups with white supremicist or other racial preferences, but the mainstream and historic Christian tradition is significantly colorblind.

Other religious traditions have varying answers. Historic, orthodox Islam is largely colorblind. I have met him and he is unhappy that we do not follow what he has said and cheat , steal , kill and behave badly without any qualms . He is going to change all that within short time .
