Try an army surplus store. K-mart even carried a few steel toed boots at one time..

I bought my husbands through a company I found when I googled Work boots. Great steel toed boots.. he loves them. and we couldn't beat the price.

you've already got some pretty good answers. heres a few more. try a redwing outlet, knapp shoes (most knapp shoe salesmen are cold-canvassers - ask a local mechanic) , or sears.
