I'm on the patch too and this happened to me just a few months ago. If you've only been on it for a short time, it could be break through bleeding. In my case, my sudden change in diet and exercise caused me to spot. Chances are everything is OK. Just keep the patch on until your scheduled day to remove it and your period should start the next week. If you feel like something might be wrong, call your doctor. I did. I've been on the patch for 3 years but this was the 1st time anything like this had happened. If nothing else, talking to him/her could ease your mind.

Spotting on BC is normal. It can happen any time for no reason. Remember though - if you have heavy bleeding, more than one pad an hour or if you have severe cramping or fever it is time to head to the ER, that is a sign something is very wrong.

you might have same break through bleeding, how long have you been on theBC? If you are new go see your doctor might need to change your dosage, if not a new user see her/him any way,

how close is it to your period? Have your questions answered by the person who RX the BC patch, they have your med records and you will not be second guessing your problem.
