A US Senator Tom Tancredo told that if US is nuked by the Muslim Terrorist Groups--US should nuke Mecca,Medina and all holy Islamic sites. It will act as a MAD(Mutually Assured Destruction).
What do you think if this kind of scenario happens? Will that bring devastating consequences for US?
As an individual Muslim what will you do to retaliate even if the nuclear bomb doesn't reach Mecca for Allah's intervention but they were triggered?

I will multiply a sound Muslim Response with 1.5 billion scattered units(Muslims) in the world and
guess what will happen to Americans throughout the world and in their own country.

In all seriousness, I am sure that everyone is expecting a bombardment of answers about violent retaliations but my sound reply would me that personally I would do nothing just sit and wait for the end of the world because if that happens, the end of the world will follow very soon. Now here, end of the world can have a meaning in terms of MAD (like how the senator described) or end of the world in terms of the apocalypse, the religious day of judgement.

As a muslim, I am inclined to believe that if a nuke reaches mecca or medina then the day of judgement is very near because we say that Allah himself has taken responsibility to protect his home and in fact, this is one of the signs of apocalypse that Allah won't care about protecting his home and he will let it be destroy if tries to.

In case the nuke is launched but never makes it, then I will just sit and wait for the world to end the MAD way because as far as I am concerned, I cannot change the minds of a huge groups of idiots sitting in Washington D.C. nor the minds of 1.5 billion muslims scattered across the globe.

The reason I will not consider it jihad or kill myself (go on a suicide attack, join a fighting force or something) because I don't believe that muslims are today what they are supposed to be. There is no muslim government and there is no caliph (khalifa) who commands one Islamic Empire and therefore there is no one qualified to declare jihad and how do I know who is right and who is wrong.

As long as muslims followed the ways of the Koran and the Sunnah, muslims fourished. They were one and they excelled socially, economically, militirastically, academically, and intellectually. Islam spread rapidly in all directions across the globe. And as soon as they let go of the Koran and the Sunnah, our dark ages began in which we are still stuck today.

When people and nations live in darkness, they lose sense of direction. In an information age, knowledge–driven global culture of reason, ignorance is no longer a requisite to learn from the living history. The previous Empires knew their geography and limits, but the newly articulated American Empire in its infancy, is challenging to the limits of the Laws of God and appears obsessed with “fear” of being replaced by the new emerging nations of Asia and South America. Bush invoked the “War on Islam”, as a dictum of power, not reason and wisdom, to camouflage the prospective future with acts of barbarity and to dispel the notion of accountability in global affairs. Historically, people and nations pursuing this path of behavior have ended up in self-defeat and self-destruction.

The 9/11 attacks and religious doctrines have no common ground. Hourly paid intellectuals turned guardian of approved truth, allege that Islam breeds terrorism. The Western mass media complements the scientifically discovered notion to poison the public perceptions and source of judgments against the Arabs and Muslims. The Neo-Conservatives helped to rob the humanity of its human heritage. The perception of ‘radical Islam’ was invented and enhanced by the ‘fear’ of terrorism and as a precursor to attack Muslims.

But, be under no illusion, Muslims do answer back with the language the Bushites understand. Tune in to the right channels and, watch with awe and wonder.

Fundamentalists on both sides actually belong to the same breed. They only know how to spread hate, violence and suffering.

They create an image of being representative of the majority, but luckily that is not so. The common man, whether Christian or Muslim just wants to live his life in peace and provide for himself and his family.

These hate-mongers always get away with such things, and finally it is the common man who suffers.
