I don't call anyone stupid unless they are. Has nothing to do with religion. Some deeply religious people are very thoughtful and openminded and intelligent. Others are not.

Do you think people toss and turn over such general things? Most people can't sleep due to something like a loved one is in the hospital or there's a big test ahead. Who loses sleep over a minor thing like this?

I'm not an athiest but calling most religious people stupid just makes plain sense. I don't know if it helps me sleep better. I will give it a try and let ya know. If you believe Noah filled his boat with 2 of every animal, I gotta bridge in the desert I can sell you real cheap!

No. I call stupid people stupid. Religion has nothing to do with IQ. As a general rule though, I try to avoid calling people "stupid." Usually, they're something else - like thoughtless, rude, mean, etc (people in general that is, not just "religious folk").

ATHEIST - someone who does no longer count on a God – any God – no longer in simple terms the Christian one. yet that does no longer propose they do no longer carry solid moral or religious beliefs! they could keep on with any faith that does no longer have a god and there are a decision of those!! Like BUDDHISM – religious preparation from Buddha and his followers that by destroying greed, hatred and fantasy (the rationalization behind all suffering) guy can attain ideal enlightenment!! or, TAOISM - A equipment of religion and philosophy depending on the teachings of Lao-tze sixth century chinese logician advocating an common and trustworthy existence and non interference with the approach organic activities. Or, one of those number of alternative religions!! yet you're in all likelihood locked into christians of which there are 2 sorts! in simple terms attempt studying a small pattern of undesirable Christian postings on the following!!! illiberal, egotistical, hate filled and bigoted!! Eschewing preparation, technological expertise, evolution works of fiction and far, a lot extra. Christians are the in basic terms faith opposing human rights and persecuting gays, professional decision and so a lot extra - yet a ways worse even as they call for freedom of religion they deny it to all non Christians and persecute them!!! we are for sure completely hostile to such nasty and damaging human emotion!! I don't think that they are stupid. Some of the most faithful are the most intelligent. Have you ever spoken with a Rabbi?

With that said, I do feel that they are misguided, just as they surely feel that I am.

Religion is to reform the society. People by following religion get mental peace. People preach moral values in the name of religion. God bless all.

You know, I have to wonder why atheists feel it's so important to attack those who believe in God. How do our beliefs hurt them? Why do they have to make this a cause, a raison d'etre? Why is it so intolerable that someone else believes?
