when someone tells me leave the guy that doesnt call bck,
why should I obey this rule when I actually like him?

I don't think that the "rules" are so important, but dating is sort of like tennis IMHO. If you keep hitting the ball over the net, and your partner isn't hitting it back, you're not really playing the game, are you? Nothing wrong with calling him, but i fyou ar ecallin ghim all the time, and it's not mutual...

Rules of this kind are about respect. . .if he doesn't call you back, maybe he doesn't want to talk to you anymore (I'm not familiar with your situation, so please don't take it like I'm telling you what to do).
But you know, you have to respect someone's wishes. . .just like if he were to call you "out of the blue", you'd have a pretty good idea that he was just horny or something.
It all depends on intentions too. . .maybe you just want some fun, so you don't mind if he calls you back a month after your date.
The rules are there for all of us, and not the reverse, but we have to respect each other along the way.

Rules where meant to be broken. I don't follow the rules, I follow my heart and my gut feeling. Yeah some women swear on the rules, but hey those rules where not meant for everyone. Imagine if all the women followed those rules, than I believe dating would be so boring. So piece of advice, just follow your instincts and enjoy life.

I think the "rules" actually drive people apart. I think it's much better if people are just sincere and open with people they're dating. After all, you could marry this person. Do you really want to have a relationship where you're trying to manipulate each other?

The rules of dating are bs. We are all different, and our relationships can't fit into a standard set of rules. Maybe he has just been really busy or something. Have you tried calling him instead of waiting for him to call you?
