the best drink i know is sherbet punch.
you take a big punch bowl and you put one gallon of raspberry or your choice of sherbet. then you pour 2 gallons 7-up or sprite your choice over the sherbet and stur pour in a cup and enjoy.

I think champagne is traditional. But it really depends on what you like. I mean if your not a champagne fan, then you probably wouldn't think it was the best. Whine is a close second behind champagne though. If you are having a wedding, is often best to serve a few different drinks. That way ppl will find something that they like.

Underage-Sparkling Grape Juice or any other Sparkling Juice, or Virgin Daiquiris
21 and Older- Champagne or Wine, but probably have a keg of beer no matter what.

Martinelli's sparkling apple cider. No booze = no embarrassing drunk relatives. It's cheap and it taste good and though it's not booze it still feels festive because people don't drink it that often.
