Southwark Bitter
A traditionally brewed full-bodied beer with a distinctive Australian hop bitterness, which follows a slightly sweet front palate. The only remaining example of the Australian primed bitter style which was so popular in the 1940's and 50's. This is S.A's most bitter beer at 25 IBU's (International Bitterness Units) yet presents as an easy drinking well- balanced beer with a broadened palate. Australia's only gold medal winner at the 2000 Beer World Cup held in New York.
