i'm also fourteen..

yeah, so.

try some cardio workout (first walking, then move up to running or just running)

eat smaller portions of all natural foods (try to eat junk food only 2 or less times a week) lean meats, only GOOD carbs (fruits, veggies, whole weat/whole grain stuff)

**drink 8 glasses (cups) of COLD water a day. it helps your body process nutrients better, and it takes a good amount of calories just to heat that water up to body temperature, and therefore, processing temperature...it sounds stupid but it is really true...you can burn a couple of extra pound a week just by doing this.

well first off, how much do ya weigh? are u at the normal range for weight at your height? if not you can do some fun excercises, like riding a bike, swimming, etc. along with start eating well-balanced meals, which includes snacks, healthy snacks of course. go to www.sparkpeople.com. it is a wonderful website for free that can help you with advice and etc. If you are at a healthy weight for ya age, you can still, and should be healthy and active, but do not worry about being overweight, oh and as a 22 year old woman I know that you should be complimenting yourself all the time, and pamper yourself in order to stay mentally happy too. GOOD LUCK!

No fast way is a healthy way. Just eat the right amount of the right stuff and get your excercise. Weight loss is done by putting out more calories than you take in. Eat fruits and vegetables a lot, go easy on the lean meat, and don't just cut out fat - you need a certain amount of fat, like olive oil and certain fish oils - and don't mistake cutting out carbohydrates for a diet, either. You need the carbs for immediate energy needs, and you are going to be doing more excercise, right?

First consult your doctor and be sure you actually need to lose weight....a lot of girls your age who think they need to really don't.
If he/she agrees that it's ok,then first just try exercising more. At your age, exercise is often enough. It doesn't have to be anything intense....just walking briskly for a half hour or more several times a week is fine. If that doesn't work and you really have to diet, I would go for the tried and true Weight Watchers. I have used it with great success to lose weight quickly, but not too quickly to be unhealthy. Combined with exercise you can really see great results. And the WW meetings are kinda fun !

Eat healthier meals. 6 meals a day that add up to your target caloric intake per day. Basically a snack/meal every two hours. Remember you're still growing so don't under cut yourself on calories.
It can not be fast. You must change your lifestyle for this to be a permanent thing. If you starve yourself, you can actually put more weight/fat on. Do it safely.

Do fruit diet! Try this in a week. Do not eat anything but fruits. Ist to 2nd day you feel dizzy but it is tolerable and normal. In a week, you lose weight. And if make that in a week, try another week. It's true because I did that! Happy dieting.
