He wasn't a bleeder, didn't bruise much and I've heard his skull was thicker than normal people's skulls. I was watching the Rosario fight today, and it's just amazing how well he took those punches.

if the genetics of Julio Cesar Chavez had anything to do whit his success why was he always in training :) janne furrows why can't u be a normal girl-boxer-fan :) , OK just kidding .

OK in my opinion the genetics of Julio Cesar were very important in his success , i can proudly say that Mexicans had been the best fighters in the light weights and that i am sure they would rule the heavier weights too if Mexicans were bigger .

sadly the same has cause more deaths to Mexicans than to any other country when two of the same country ( Mexicans ) encounter in the same ring . i wouldn't say that Mexicans are superior to any other race but what i can say is that when in comes to fighting we are known to give our best and to fight whit our hearths more than our skills . Mexico is a country of fighters .

Chavez sucked.. His reputation of fighting bums and being a Don King fighter got him to the God status in Mexico. My boy cokehead Pernell beat the crap out of him.;
