As a rule, yes...single and over 40 usually spells damaged goods or significant eccentricity in some way (to hell with "special"...nature as a rule favors only the slightly-better-than-normal and punishes the exceptional regardless of whether it's exceptionally positive or negative), and whether he's had his butt kicked too often or has just had trouble finding a good match, the more years he's got, the more careful he's likely to be. Don't forget as well that 40 is about the time when your sense of mortality kicks in (I'd bet money that it's hard-wired in the brain to do that at a given age) and when that particular self-realization emerges, it typically makes a man more cautious or more reckless...and I don't read "reckless" in your description.

It depends on the guy. Usually men in that age range are done being a "player". I have a girlfriend that is 36 now and her ex-fiance is 49 years old. They have a 4 year old daughter together. They were together for 7 years. She is now dating a 45 year old who wants a serious relationship with her. Beware though, I do know a couple of very good looking men in their early 40's and they are dating females in their 20's. If they know they can get those much younger girls then they will do it as long as they can.

iam a woman and iam 34 so i will inform you in basic terms from my attitude, i imagine adult men at a particular age in the experience that they have got not in any respect been married and prefer to be, do experience a similar stress as a woman even as she is unmarried and older fantastically,. adult men who're bachelors for an favourite and regularly do as they experience there mortality do wanna hurry up and stumble on a woman they could spend there existence with and function babies in an attempt to nevertheless be youthful sufficient to relish them. i imagine it relies upon on the guy at forty and the position he's in existence some adult men of their forty's like being unmarried and probably this is because they already had the marriage and the relations and now like their unmarried time yet a guy who's forty and not in any respect been married and prefer to experience it may experience a lot extra in a rush to do it.

We are a pain. We are set in our ways and afraid we have lost our sex appeal. Most of us have been married, had kids, home, jobs, divorced, and lost it all. We don't want to get burned again.

Yes. I find they are too set in their ways and not adaptable to change.
