I know that not all Muslims are terrorists, but why is it that almost all terrorists are Muslim.?

I know there are other groups who are considered terrorists, I have had many classes on the South American drug and gun runners, and the groups in Northern Ireland. These people are not what we have known as terrorists in the last 2 decades though. They are really just very violent businessmen. The terrorists I am talking about blow things up for no reason, and themselves to for crying out loud. Excuse the mentally deranged Tim Mcveigh, and your terrorists could hold a Islamic seminar.

Thanks for the history lesson lyla, but like I said, I have done my homework on terrorist groups. Mainly the course from the Marine Corps Institute that is entiteled Terrorism Awareness. So thanks for your cut and paste, but it was repetitious to me. You missed the point.

The main reason is the fact that it's a part of their religion. They believe that they are rewarded for this kind of action in Heaven and no other religion or faith says kill and in return get eternal life.

Islam means "submit" and during the time of Mohammed, they would go from place to place and people either submitted to Islam or were killed, the whole focal point and cornerstone is focused on killing others so they feel they are cleansing the world of infidel non believers and get hooked up in Heaven for the great contribution to mankind.

I think that's why it's more prevelant with them verses other groups.

It is the peace coming out in them.. It is a daily thing with them. I saw a guy on the TV that said they should cut the arm off of a guy that stole 20 packs of cigarettes and the cops reminded him that we were in the USA and had other rules for that crime. Be great to be under sharia law??
The greatest thing is that the peaceful ones want to live in the US but don't want to do anything to stop the terrorists. I think that they should go back and fight for their freedom instead of hiding behind american soldiers and then hating the americans for being there.

The Answer to that question is: Who told you that almost all terrorists are Muslim? You most likely got that idea from the News, a lot of people go by:What IS Shown! and not by what ISNT shown! for example: you may see (PLENTY of)Images of American Troops providing Medical care to Iraqi children and they show you images of American troops doin all kinds of good things for Iraqi citizens....But they DONT show you images of American Troops Threatening Iraqi women and citizens (but thats an ugly part of their job too)
The U.S. Government(&Allies) does A LOT of stuff to people in the world that the public knows nothing about!

It has to do with religion and wanting to convert everyone to one religion. The crusades were not that way. (btw) they were a fight to preserve xtianity (the right to belive in what you wanted) in Jerusalem and NOT to convert others to their cause. Radical Muslems want to convert or Kill anyone who is not a believer in their ALLAH!

Every group has their bad apples but in general xtainity is very tolerant of others and their beliefs. Think America where we can believe what we want to without fear (so far). After 500AD Mohomed gave the go ahead to slaughter everyone on earth who does not conform to his teachings. There have been many many close calls in history since then and thankfully the world has not turned into a nation of one religion (especially Islam). Thats is what the fight is about. It would be very hard to convince the general public about this war when they don't understand that we are under pressure to convert to their (Islams) ways.
