I think Goth people need to find a new way to be different like thinking differently and standing out.Not by being down and low spirited and always wear black.I manage to do that and not be unhappy looking.

Goths are cool! you just dont see it because you think its stupid or whatever. but goths probably think you're stupid. each to their own. people have different interests, you have yours and they have theirs.
And they arent losers. you are losers for slating something you dont know about. i bet none of you even know what a real goth is. the whole "i hate myself and my parents dont love me" thing is just a stereotype which has sucked you all in because you cant even think for yourselves.

I am not goth, but i dont think they want to be that way, they just express it differently. Goth people choose to be that way because they hate their life and their parents dont love them.

We see the darker side of life in which you choose not to see we don't always wear black or dye our hair it a feeling we have inside that black feeling and my parents love me no one raped me or beat me i have a good job! so no it isnt all those things it is a lifestyle it is a way that we cant change yes there are posers who want attention just like in everything else but i dont know exactly if it is a decision but a darkside of life that is more true that the gray area that alot of people live in

Oh, and kindnest, if we didn't stand out.. how would you know we exist? Obviously the Gothic subculture stands out if it's known; otherwise we wouldn't be talking about this, would we?

I feel as though they've been rejected so deeply... hurt in places of their souls so much that they use it as a front, a protective covering if you will....
I'm not going to walk around looking like I've already been buried....neither will they, once they get closer to the real thing! :)
The culture of death is so counterproductive in any venue.
