You believe everything you see on the network news? What facts do you have about how prisoners are treated at GITMO? None, I'll bet.
Even your supreme being, Senator Turban Durbin, who compared our Marines to Nazis two years ago has completely changed his story. Of course, 2 years ago, he was reacting to media reports and not facts. Now that he's been there, he knows the truth.
Just because Wolf Blitzer says it's true doesn't mean it is so.
You should also learns something about your enemy. When they captured 2 American soldiers, they tortured and beheaded them. How many headless terrorists are there in GITMO?
You have double standards.

Illegal Aliens enter the USA to better themselves, but they are illegal because they make no effort to enter legally as the law states. GITMO prisoners are not illegal aliens but captured members of a terrorist or militant organization who's motives are to destroy non-Muslim people around the world. The law for one does not even come close to cover the law for the other... One is a matter of immigration and not attempted murder... or the planing of a peoples death because they don't believe as "civilized people" do...

Terrorists themselves are breaking the core rules of the Geneva conventions, your arguement is invalid.
Jim T: What you say is truthful, however the exact arguement the Supreme Court and the Poster are using is that the insurgents in gitmo deserve treatment outlined in the Geneva Conventions.

Black Sabbath, your answer is invalid due to the fact that the terrorists never signed the Geneva Convention. Secondly, the Geneva Convention applies only organized armies of nation-states. The terrorists are not an organized army of a nation-state.
