I'm not too skinny myself and yogurt is not really my thing. I'd rather eat a donut or something. So if I eat a lot of yogurt I'l lose weight?

I would actually argue that skinny girls don't always eat yogurt to get thinner or because they want to lose weight. Yogurt tastes pretty good, in my opinion.

I'm always craving something to eat (even when I'm not really "hungry") and I've found that the two best foods to munch on are yogurt and beef jerky. Both are very low in calories, high in protein, and are fairly satisfying to munch on. They hold me over until a full meal. And really, it's much healthier to eat something like yogurt or beef jerky when you're just hungry for munchies (no matter what you weigh) instead of grabbing a bag of chips or scarfing down alot of donuts. This isn't to say that eating donuts is bad, but neither is eating yogurt.

People just have different tastes.

Hope this helps =)

I don't understand this either but I would never eat a donut. I personally hate yogurt and pudding. (Ever seen some under a microscope?!) But I know that the bacteria in yogurt helps you lose weight faster somehow. But that consumption can't be good for you, can it?

There have been studies saying dairy will help you lose weight but many think it's just a campaign to promote dairy product sales. Yogurt is good for you, especially being female. It keeps yeast infections away but if you don't like it, don't eat it, it is loaded with sugar unless you buy the plain non-fat yogurt and that is GROSS! I used to buy it and sweeten it with splenda and vanilla extract, then it's not so bad...but I never lost weight eating it. Exercise is the key to losing weight.

Since they're "skinny" one could assume that this is the result of being health-concious. A health concious person knows about what they're eating - and, as reported by Men's Health among other nutritional guides, eating yogurt cuts the chance of catching a cold in half (because of the "good" bacteria). So perhaps these girls just know what's good for them?

hey fatty, skinny girls like yogurt becuase they dont live to eat, they eat to live. Yogurt is light yet satisfying. Maybe you should try saying this sang more often "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"

I am skinny, 511 and 140 and I hate yogurt. Give me chocolate, donuts, cookies, french fries, Regular Coke, anything fattening. I hate diet foods!

you dont lose weight by eating yogurt. i guess those commercials makes it look like u eat it as a meal. but not. that wouldnt be healthy. yogurt still has calories. no matter how much u eat, you are still consuming calories.
