There's a girl in work I like. I think she may like me too (fairytale story)...lol... If i were to be spotted chatting to another girl (just chatting).... could it cause the girl I like to get wierd with me? Coz she did spot and now she's gone wierd...

Well it could be that the girl is confused, frustrated & jealous. Girl tends to be more sensitive that guys. If the girl is single who has never dated before, you being especially nice to her will give her the impression that you r interested. But the fact that you did not make any move or action to to make it known expressly to her that you like her & wants to date her would cause her to feel frustrated especially if she is a new student in this love & dating game. Sensitive and afraid of facing rejection meant that she has problem making the first move and maybe waiting for you to make the first move. Not knowing how to make you understand her feelings plus catching u chatting happily with another girl will add to the frustration & confusion. She may be acting wierd and withdrawn from u as she don't understand if u r really interested in her. This is even worst if the girls u chatted with are more attractive and witty than her in her eyes. She is probably a bit angry with u too. So the solution, probably u need to have a talk with her and tell her very expressively that u like her and wants to date her. In other words, maybe all she needs from u is a confirmation that you like her. If u don't she can also go on with her life. I am a girl & right now, going through the same situation & trying to sort out all the emtions & problem. So good luck to u.

If shes gone wierd then sell the talking to the other girl as postive.
Eg She approached you and you felt rude not to respond
Then for the girl you do like take this sort of approach. This is not the manual of life, merely a option which i think is strong and fair.
arrange to meet her seperately at an event (Not the cinema) e.g pub or go bowling and get to know her and slowly but surely tell her of her good points (y u like her) nice eyes, smilely. Then you should be able to gauge the outcome by her responses.

I think that you should make a move now, dont play hard to get if you like the girl.
Be careful though, a girl that is openly jealous before your going out with them may well get really possesive when you date them.

Women are always giving men signs. Unfortunately men are usually too stupid to notice. (sorry no offence) If she's gone weird when she saw you talking to another woman. She's trying to say to you "I thought you liked me, what are you doing flirting with her?"
So in other words, she is defintitely jealous. Ask her out. Go on. Be Brave. You'll thank me when you do.

She's jealous..there is competition..if she's jealous without you guys even being "together" be careful because first you shouldn't mix Business and Pleasure and if you two do decide to get together think how the jealousy will be if it doesn't work out for you.

Maybe she has gone weird on you because she thought that you liked her and now she is doubting your intentions. Gals can be jealous creatures. If you like her, ask her out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The worst thing she can do is say no.

Well she might be weird if she knows you like her and if she thinks you know that she likes you back. She's also probably jealous if it is indeed true that she does like you. Women are strange. Some prefer chocolate over men.

Poor thing, you aren't really supposed to get women!!!! Just kidding. You need to talk to her, don't jump to conclusions. Sounds like she's jumping to conclusions too, and one of you doing that is enough. If you don't speak up she will never know how you feel, and once she does maybe she won't get "weird" anymore!
