I currently have this stupid phobia that I cannot use a public restroom, not because of the fear of germs or anything like that,I can't stand the thought of people being able to hear me pee!!!I will hold it untill I am able to get home or I have to make sure it's the kind of bathroom only one person can use,or if I can't possibly wait I have to hold my ears so I can't hear that anyone else is in the bathroom with me or I absolutely cannot pee!!It won't come out!!! I still have this phobia and I just wish I could take a pee in peace!!!!!No way I'm confronting this!!

I have an intense fear of rats. I confronted it working at Petco. I picked up hamsters and gerbils by the tail and put them in boxes for customers. They're not rats rats, but they are gross. Gross like rats. I don't know what the jargon is, but perhaps they are a type of rat. If i had to confront a rat, I will know now to go for the tail. But I would still be afraid that it would be aggressive and try to bite me. So I'm still not sure how I picked up those hamsters and gerbils. I worked there for a month and left. I did not intend on confronting my phobia, but the chance was an obligation, if i wanted to keep my job. Fish are alot more friendly.

My greatest fear is the thought of dying rich.

I confront it everyday with frivolous spending.

What happens? Just when I think I conquered this phobia, along comes my monthly investment earnings, and I'm right back where I started from.

Woe is me!

this may sound silly or stupid but I fear fear. I have ptsd and that puts me on edge waiting for things to happen all the time...so i am fearful almost 24 hours a day... I fear fear. I fear changes in my routines, everything. I have to confront these everyday... It is exhausting!
But maybe my biggest fear at this moment is that I won't be able to move past Aug 30. The last day with my current therapist, I have worked with this therapist for over 6 yrs. That is FEAR!!!!!!

my phobia is i'm afraid i'll hurt someone. like kill them. i'm afraid that i will do it in my sleep or something. i'm afraid to go to sleep every night, and just going to sleep at like 4 o clock in the morning because i can't stay awake any longer and waking up at like nine and seeing that all of my family and friends are safe relieves me but it happens every night. i guess my phobia is i'm afraid of myself. isn't that horrible? i just pray a lot because i feel like everyone will think i'm crazy, which you all probably do.

i'm lucky i don't have any fears or phobias. neither have my kids who are almost adult. doesn't mean that i'm going to pick up a snake that's poisonous though. or pat a stray dog. not stupid.
