I get motivated and I start to do it but after 24 hours of needing it, I just give in. It's so hard.

I went through the same thing. The patch never worked for me, neither did the gum. I chewed a lot of gum and always had life savers in my mouth. I changed my routine. Instead of talking to my friends on the phone and have a smoke, I'm on th e phone and doing dishes. I try and keep my hands and mouth busy. If worst comes to worst ask your Doctor if there is anything they can give you. My Doctor prescribed welbutin for me. It's a pill for anxity but it also helps with the "wanting to smoke". Hope I helped.

Visualize friends and family putting flowers on your grave, maybe that would be a good motivation.
