You can't under normal circumstances. If you're uncomfortable about answering when you see this caller id display, don't answer it or just let your answering machine take it. If you taped your answering machine message to reveal personal information like your name or number, re-record it to say something anonymous like, "No one is available right now to answer your call. Please leave a message or call later." Collection agencies are not allowed by law to leave ANY messages concerning a debt on an answering machine or to a third party (like if someone other than you picked up the phone).

you can't because that person is blockin their number and in order to block a number you have to know the digits, basically just let the phone ring
