Seriously a group of Athiest has a One Million Dollar reward offered if you can raise someone from the dead.I am an Ordained Minister but I think they have a point.Maybe Jesus only raised people from the dead so He could prove to the people of His time that He was who He said He was.-------Rev.Jason Petty greendonkey34@yahoo.com

the source is the James Randi foundation:

I think the only requirement is that it must be proven using the scientific method....ie, under lab conditions.

Or, maybe, the stories of Jesus raising the dead are ficticious?? Is THAT not possible??

Lets look at this rationally. Roman secualr documents PROVE that Jesus was a real person. However, nothing but the Bible describes Jesus raising the dead. In fact, if Roman secualr documents pertaining to the prosecution and cruciffixion of Jesus exist - dont you think documents would exist that say he rose from the dead three days later??? I mean, this would have been BIG NEWS. But, alas, they do not exist. Except the stories in the Bible.

Furthermore, according to the Bible, Jesus died and was raised after three days. This is so because it was written in the Old Testament that the Messiah would come, die for our sins and then be ressurected within three days. HOwever, it doesnt add up....according to the stories, Jesus was crucified on Friday. If you read the story and understand they way time was kept in those days, you come to the conclusion that Jesus' actual moment of deat was approximately 3pm. He was then taken down off the cross, put into a tomb. On early Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene finds the tomb empty. Miraculously, Jesus was only dead for 1.5 - 1.75 days - not three as the Bible says...

The Bible offers these stories as "proof" that God exists and that Jesus was God. However, there is no tangible evidence to prove that any of the miracles that Jesus performed were real. None whatsoever.

If this is open to interpretation then yes, I have. It’s called CPR. Or go to a hospital, they do it all the time. You don’t have to be special to bring a person back from the dead.

so where's my money?

Blessed Be.

whoa
i believe you!
i haven't but some claim they have
you cant really prove it/show it to any one though
in order to do that
you have to know exactly when it'll happen
that's kinda hard
i really don't know if it's possible or not
I'm too confused about it right now
cant say for sure
