I was opening the door for some people who had just bought a cedar chest from me at my home. I live off a very busy main street. Then hawk just flew right down on my picnic table within about 4 feet of us and stayed there for about 3 to 4 minutes. I went back in to get my camera by then it flew to the garage roof on the edge and starred at us for another couple of minutes before flying off.
I believe this may have been a sign or message of some sort.
Does anyone have a clue what that may be?
Thanks :)!

As I understand it, Hawks carry a meaning similar to that of Eagles. Both of them are symbolic of great vision (think of eagle's eyesight.) They also fly higher and higher until they disappear. Many people think of them as messengers between earth and heaven. They have a lot to do with spirituality and the you that is not your physical "you", but much much deeper.

I often see eagles and hawks at important times in my life. I don't know how to explain it, but they appear out of nowhere and they disappear very quickly. It really feels spiritual in that way. One time, while at a park in Seattle, a golden eagle came out of nowhere and flew over head, about 15 feet up. I saw it look me in the eye.

What has been going on in your life lately? You may already know what the hawk means if you think about that.

The native Americans say that it means you should pay attention. It was most likely just hunting, or resting. I see them all of the time.
