I think it is possible that life forms exist somewhere else in the universe. If life on earth came about through a natural process it is very likely that this same process would occur elsewhere in the universe, given the right conditions. The universe is huge, so odds are, there is another planet which could support life of some sort. It would even be possible that intelligent life exists somewhere on a distant planet.
However, I find no reason to believe that aliens are visiting the planet nor do I claim to know that aliens exist anywhere at all....it's just a high possibility.
All we have for proof of god are ancient texts and personal beliefs.

Let's see... There are trillions of statrs, trillions of planets and googlesets of carbon and silicate atoms throughout the universe. Along with water... Wherever there is water on Earth, there is life... so it's probably true everywhere.
On God's side, all I have is a book written 2000 years ago by people not smart enough to believe in aliens... or planets... or stars. Medicine. Physics. Eating pork. etc... Indeed.. they had no idea of the world they lived in and the book was thier best attempt to make sense of it all.

I believe there are other planets simply because of the sheer immensity of the universe. And why should we be so conceited to believe this is the only planet in all the universe with life on it? We exist, so it is probable that we are not alone. There is no tangible proof that there is some deity. I'm sorry if anyone finds this offensive, but it satisfies my analytical mind.

Pure Mathematics. The Mathematical probability of there being Extra Terrestrial life FAR outweighs the Mathematical probability of a Deity or God in a religious sense.
Besides, I've never seen a God, but unless the UK government are testing out new ultra-super speed flying multicoloured Spheres, then I've (ok, not an ET) seen a UFO that used intelligent methods of maneuverability.

I'm an atheist and I do believe that there is life somewhere else in the universe. I believe this based on numbers. There are trillions upon trillions of stars, and that's just the ones we know about. If even 1% of those stars has a single planet revolving around them, it would still be absurd to assume that there is no life elsewhere. Good question.

I think life on other planets may be possible, though I daresay the odds are small. The odds of intelligent civilized life are, naturally, very much smaller (but not zero). And no, the evidence is just not there in either case.

The probability of this giant universe having only one form of life on one planet is very small, I think. "Aliens" is a relative term that to me just means other lifeforms, even if that form be some type of bacteria only. They don't have to be humans, or even little green men, just alive.

Alien life is far more likely then god, as we know life exists on at least one planet, extra-solar planets exist, and there are billions of other stars and galaxies, it is actually quite likely alien life does exist somewhere.

I think theyre could be life on another planet, the universe is huge, plenty of space for them, i believe in evolution so there is nothing to say that evolution is exclusive to our planet. Stranger things have happened.
