The school system. You have illegal parents coming to the US bringing thier children. They come to enroll at your school and they speak no English, they have no immunizations, no Social Security cards, no phone, no proof of residence, etc. By law, you have to accept these children, provide them with free immunizations, give them free lunch, provide English and Spanish speaking teachers, reduce the amount of homework, exempt them from testing, etc.
The Mexican people know exactly how to get what they want for free from our government. I realize these children need an education, don't get me wrong. Just follow the same rules that citizens have to follow and dont' make me have to learn to speak Spanish just to accomodate them and don't take any more money out of my paycheck to support them.

Employers hiring illegals, paying them barely above minimum wage, not paying payroll taxes, and they complain when there's a labor shortage.
If I sneak into Canada on vacation I'd get arrested, deported, have that on my record permanently, I wouldn't be able to get another job in the insurance industry. Illegals demand that they be allowed to go in/out with punishment, and even with rewards.
They think they don't have to pay taxes like everybody else. Tell them to join the club.
We stop potential terrorists from entering, but not these thieves?
I've known several people from the Balkans, Africa that came here legally to escape, war, oppression, and genocide. They went through the process to become citizens. Why should illegals be able to get everything free when the others followed the rules?

The idea that resident illegal aliens should be rounded up and deported en masse. It is totally impractical.
I note a previous responder's comments with respect to the impact of illegals on the schools. This is certainly an issue which needs to be taken into account in anything purporting to be a solution to the problem.

That people try to tie racism into this when it is, first and foremest, a case of controlling the borders to prevent terrorists from streaming into the country. After all, if just any Mexican, Canadian, or whoever can cross over, what is to stop terrorists being able to do the same?

It's going to be tough to just say one but I think the one I hate the most is how they can get all of this free stuff from the government that even most American citizens can't get without paying anything into the system.

This has nothing to do with racism. My biggest aggrevation is the politicians not supporting US laws on immigration. They swore to uphold the Federal laws as well as their state laws. This will come out again when it's time for re-election, one way or another.

The fact that these criminals have the audacity to justify their criminal behavior and the way the look for protection under the same legal system they once showed absolutely no respect for.

It has been used for political gain and to distract the American and the world from what is more important. The Iraq question. Peace.
