I have been in this relationship for quite a while and he still claims due to the ex wife that we can't come out in the open or she will prevent him from seeing his son. He has said he loves me which confuses me. This behavior spills over into all other areas of his life as he will not link to anything of mine on the web so she can not find out that he is still talking to me. He calls me late at night or when he is on the road somewhere, seldom when he is around people. I have caught him in some out and out lies but basically it is his with-holding information. He gets upset when I question him too much or just flat out ignores me. I just found out he is buying a house, bought a new vehicle recently and still have no physical address for where he lives. I do know where he works though so that is something. I do realize what it sounds like. Ive tried explaining it to him, but he just tells me I am being mean. I need help in how to make him realize how this all appears to people.

Sounds like the ex wife is not an ex wife and he's living a double life. Unless you're satisfied with the situation as it stands today, run for the hills

Your not the first, and this is an age old story.
You will be hidden and hidden from Life forever.It may hurt you a little now. But LOOSE THAT Guy.... as fast as you can !!!!!!
Hear are some old traditional facts:
1.) If he is doing it to her(wife) He'll do it to you
2.) Using his son as a reason will never cease. Even if he turns 90.
3.) You will always be living a lie; you don't want that do you?
3.) He'll dump you sooner or later, he's already using lame excuses now.
4.) He won't give up his wife now, or ever for that matter
5.) Your going to get more depressed the longer you carry on with him.
6.) You will end up being named as________ I'll leave that blank.
7.) There is an old song called.......50 ways to leave your lover, or something like that.
I could go on but please get your own life, not part of someone Else's!!

You'd never have a healthy relationship with this man. Give it up.

Dare yourself to go pick up anyone else, I think you just lack confidence, but realize you are better off when he ignores you and run in the opposite direction and realize you are lucky with out him.

You need to get out of this deceiving,dishonest relationship if you want to call it that.He is hiding something and treats you like dirt.
He doesn't care about you only himself and whatever he's hiding,
He doesn't even want to be seen in public with you.Tell him to take a hike and hope he leaves you a lone and you need to rethink your life.

It sounds like he's still seeing this "ex-wife" of his (if she's not still his wife). Move on.
