I gave my girlfriend a second chance and we had a talk i told her that if trust is what she needed that i would give it to her right after i said that she said that she was going out of town the next day and i said it was cool, the next day she left called me once from where she was at, i returned her call talked to her and i asked her to call me when she was done eating dinner and drinking wine. She never called me until next day and left a message saying that she got too drunk and couldn't call me, she gets drunk every other time and always calls me, i decided to not answer her calls or returned them because she knows where i stand and totally disregared the talk that we had, after she told me that she didnt want to leave things in a bad way well by her not calling me when she said she was that shows me that she doesn't care and i need to stop waisting my time with her so i'm completely done with her and i have nothing else to say but good-bye wish her the best am i right?

obviously all she wants to do is get drunk and party all the time and she doesn't respect your wishes so I would leave her and find someone who will respect your wishes and requests.

I don't think you should be the only one trying to work things out. Two strikes and she's out don't give her the chance to mess up a third time. If all you asked for is a phone call no matter how tired or drunk you can pick up the phone and say I am tired so I will call you later or I had a lot to drink to night so I am going to go to bed and make sure she says I love you goodnight.

Yes you are absolutely right! She will not change and will only continually bring you heartache. You cannot trust her. How can you be in a relationship without trust? Do you want to be constantly wondering what she is doing and with who? Relationships should add joy to your life and from what you've said this girl added aggravation and stress to your life. Get rid of her and don't look back! I am sure you can do better.

i personally would say your right if i was talking about myself..... simply put what is this stage you are in with her? a girlfriend boyfriend relationship is a way to see if your compatible for marriage. now is this the woman you want your children to call mommy? it sucks royally to have to close this chapter in your life but for every man there is a woman and you shouldnt have to beg for trust or make somone understand what trust is.

unsolicited advice....find a hobby or somthing you like to do and do it and have fun. dont look for a potential gf/ future wife if you just do somthing enjoyable for you, mrs right will appear out of no where and bliss will began. works every time its tried, but doesnt seem to happen over night good luck and thank the lord your a smart guy who had the courage and inteligence to want to be happy.

Yes you are very right. She isn't interested in a relationship or she wouldn't be doing those things. Kick her to the curb, and go on with your life. You're not happy now, so why continue?? Find someone who deserves you, not someone who makes your life miserable.

As a guy I know that if you love someone and they give you that sob story (although your girls is a terrible one ) you truly want to believe them. But people are creatures of habit and if you allow her to think of you as a push over who she can just tell any old lie to then she'll treat you like one ......don't take her back ....you made the right choice

Well it looks like you answered your own question... once trust is broken it is hard to get it back and the fact that it was less than 24 hours.. i'd let her go... no more chances!!!

Man, I'm not reading that entire question, and I don't really need to... No, do not give anyone a 3rd chance.
