My self-esteem. He gave me the ability to be bold and strong. I was sort of the shy type. I didn't do well in social situations. I never had the kind of self esteem others had. Others could make friends easily, I never could because I always felt like I was less than other people. I felt like I was not good enough. I never went to the prom, not because no one wouldn't ask me, but because I never felt that I didn't look good enough, you know how it is. I missed out on many great things because of my lack of self esteem, but when Christ came into my life, my last year in high school, everything changed. I became much more outgoing. As my faith has grown over the past few years, as I have drawn more nigh to the Lord, I have become much stronger and much bolder. I am not afraid anymore, that is the greatest change He made in me.

He gave me the ability to see that I am a good person, and someone (who now is my fiance`) out there could love me for who I am, not what I have, or will buy for them.
Also, he has given me a great amount of patience.
He's reinstated my ability to make someone who is having the worst day of their life, laugh.
He's filled my heart with unending love, and understanding.
He (through help of the holy spirit, and a friend who used to be an atheist that was giving me his testimony of how he converted back to Chritianity) gave me the gift of everlasting Paradise in Heaven, and to be with him once more!
In my past, I've gone from a Christian who never understood the religion, to one who really didn't know whether or not to believe in god, to myself today. This has been really hard for me to admit, but I'm 21, and I've only just started to read the bible about 2 months ago. I want to have a better understanding of God. I always ask the advice of others if I have questions.

Yes that is Christ working through you, it is good that you can see the changes that the Holy Spirit is making in your life, things that you simply could NOT do in your own strength. One of the biggest differences in my life was when people are rude or offensive, my reaction was to defend myself and give back as good as I got. Now I have no desire to do that I just feel sad that people are so rude, and I am then able to pray that they change and find Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Like you !!.....He truly changes you from that person
who didn't know what having the love of God within you
can really be like. So many things look different to you
after the change. Those old desires fade away,& you take on new ones He approves of. All we need to do is let Him live through us.I praise Him for saving me !!

The difference God made in my life is that He turned me around. Things I did, I didn't have a desire to do any more and the greatest one I think is going on in my life now. I would have never thought I would be caring to my ex-husband. Feeling sorry for him after the woman whom he deserted his family for dumped him. I know God has changed me.

He changed me from a woman who was confused about just about everything to a woman who is full of peace and assurance.
He gave me back my purity, my virtue, He set my feet upon the rock of His word. I know who I am in Christ.
I am now a person whose life is completely ordered by God's hand. I no longer worry about anything; I trust Him for everything.
What a 180!!

Oh, Lisa, you will laught at me........
You see..........I cannot remember ever not being a Christian. I know I asked Him into my heart to stay at a early age. He had to remind me of that. I know where, but not when.
I once asked my Pastor, "If it were better to be saved at a young age or older?"
for I saw changes in people and they seemed more thankful than me when they got saved at an older age.
He said, "Yes."
So it is just better to be saved! at any age....PTL!
