Earth is all of these things wrapped up into one. Also at the same time it is none of these things. Hard to explain... but think of life and the feelings you have as a sampling of heaven, hell, and purgatory at the same time. Good times heh.

No, it is not. Purgatory is pure fiction - not biblical at all. Hell - that's another story. But it is not the eternally burning torment that so many people subscribe to.

Revelation 20:13-15 says: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now, if hell is this eternally burning firepit, why does God say in His Word that hell will be cast into the lake of fire?

Find Strong's Concordance online and do a word study on hell. You might be really surprised at what the word really means.

God will judge the unrighteous, and they will be cast into a lake of burning fire where they will be burned up like stubble. Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

They will not have the gift of eternal life. They will not have the gift of eternity with God.

Earth is the race that we are running to obtain the goal of heaven. I pray that you will win that race.

Yes this planet is hell! Believe it Babe...it only gets worst year after year, and decade by decade! Have faith in something, but not that this world will get better, because it won't. Believe that there is life beyond death and that it is peaceful where God treads...and it will make living in this cruel world easier. Love every second of your vanishing life, and those around you...settle all disputes...don't leave angry or sad. I don't know what the hell I am saying all this for...but yes I believe that this earth is HELL! LOL

Neither it's just a step on the stair case of our souls life... think of it as a grade in school you learn here and then you will move on to the next grade in your next life. Unless you seriously screw up then you will have to repeat and then it will feel like hell.
