Bonding with your parakeets like that is almost impossible

They are bonded to each other and feel that they dont need you.

You'd have to put them all in separate cages and tame them.

As far as letting them fly around the house let them come out of their cage at their own pace, when they get tired or scared they should fly back to their cage.

you can email me for more questions at fatwhale90@yahoo.com

I hope this helps

Best Of luck Joe

I agree with everyone here. I have 2 keets and how they first came out was on their own leisure. Just don't force them. And in the cages see what they like. For example, Mirrors and if they like mirrors then put one outside on a playpen. Or millet or spinach. Make sure there is a adequate sized playpen. And since i have 2 they hang out only with themselves moslty so with 4 they might do the same unless they are babies.

Also sit in front of their cage everyday for 30 mins atleast and talk to them or just sit there. They will come to you because they are too curious. And you will have fun with them. Good luck.

it well be hard to bond when you have four together. Because they well choice each other over you. Make sure there cage is no higher then your chest or they well feel more domaint over you. stand at ther cage and talk to them in a low calm voice.once they are use to you next to there cage, open the door (if there wings are clipped) and let them come out on there own, cont. talking to them until they feel comfortable enough to let you but your hand out. Best of all buy a book about parkeet or research them on internet

They say the younger the parakeets are, the easier they are to train. However, I just opened up the cage for my parakeet for a few hours a day, and he just flew out one day. Now he loves it, and when he gets bored, he flies back into his cage. There were no tricks to it whatsoever!

open door of cage and allow them out at there own time
be warned they are like kids when they are out the cage.
They might not want to go back in there cage.
