Is it bad of me knowing that i cant be with him becuase of his relgion and my culture and family would forbid it and that im falling out of love with him. The other guy i like doesnt have a clue. I have spoken to someone about this situation and they like me to so they can not give me the advice i need.

just say you have to choose your family over him. there's no future between the two of you. you're upset enough and you can't go through this anymore..you have made up your mind..best be friends..and lets hope that in the next life all religions are opened minded..and peaceful..

If you really love this person then there are ways to work it out. why is he the wrong religion now? Didn't you know this when you first got together with him or is this the excuse you are using to break up with him. And if you really liked him, how did this other person come into the picture. Maybe you need to straighten out your life first and know exactly want you want before dragging other people into it. Do some soul searching before you do anything and talk to your boyfriend about it.

Just tell him the truth in a tactful manner. In the short term it'll hurt; but, it'll hurt anyways. Preferably face to face. If you use one of the excuses we all know are generic lies anyway (i.e., "It's not you, it's me; etc.) he may resent you in the long run and even if he doesn't he'll loose respect for you. If he looses respect for you (after he gets over the hurt of rejection) then you didn't need him as a friend anyways.

Why do you need advice? You know what you want to do, so do it.

A word of advice though, don't even be thinking about marriage yet. You're obviously emotionally immature judging by your predicament. Just date, have fun, and don't go making promises you're too fickle to keep.

Do it firmly , quickly and honestly. Very sad that religion is part of the problem as with so much that is wrong in the world.

The most important part is: you're falling out of love with him. Tell him that, be honest, but not cruell. There is no way you can break up with him, without hurting him.
